A partnership with RFSL Ungdom gives your communications team something real to point to: a long-term relationship, co-created campaigns, and a nationally recognised partner whose credibility reflects directly on yours. - **pitches.leaderBody.1**: This is the difference between a Pride post and a public commitment that holds up across the year. - **pitches.dataTab**: HR & People - **pitches.dataTitle**: HR & People - **pitches.dataBody.0**: LGBTQI inclusion at work is not only an internal policy question. It is shaped by whether your people feel the organisation's values are real, consistent, and worth standing behind. - **pitches.dataBody.1**: A partnership with RFSL Ungdom gives HR and people teams a concrete, ongoing anchor for inclusion work: youth perspectives brought into your organisation, sessions that go beyond awareness, and a partnership your employees can see and feel, not just read about in a policy document. - **pitches.csrdTab**: Sustainability & CSRD - **pitches.csrdTitle**: Sustainability & CSRD - **pitches.csrdBody.0**: The EU has postponed Wave 2 reporting to 2028 (covering FY2027), but ESRS S1 and S3 still require specificity about the communities you affect and engage. A structured partnership builds that record now, before it is due. - **pitches.csrdBody.1**: Our partnership model is built to produce that evidence. Every structured partnership includes documentation designed to support your reporting needs, not as an afterthought, but as part of how we work together from day one. - **pitches.foundationsTab**: Foundations & Giving - **pitches.foundationsTitle**: Foundations & Giving - **pitches.foundationsBody.0**: RFSL Ungdom has been supported by Swedish and international foundations for over two decades. We understand what evidence-based grantmaking looks like, and we build our programmes accordingly. - **pitches.foundationsBody.1**: If your foundation prioritises youth rights, LGBTQI inclusion, mental health, or civic participation, we can show you how your support enters our work, what it makes possible, and how we document and review its impact over time. - **pitches.foundationsBody.2**: We welcome both project-based grants and longer-term philanthropic partnerships. ## deliverables - **deliverables.eyebrow**: What partnership includes - **deliverables.title**: A governed partnership with real deliverables - **deliverables.intro**: Every partnership with RFSL Ungdom is scoped, agreed in writing, and reviewed annually. We believe everyone has the right to make informed choices about their body, relationships and sexuality. - **changeAreas.items.0.body.1**: We provide clear, evidence-based information on bodies, sexuality, gender identity, HIV and STIs, consent, rights and access to care in Sweden. This information is shared through our website, social media, dating apps and national campaigns. We also reach people directly through chat, email and peer-led activities. - **changeAreas.items.0.body.2**: Our peer education program aims to train young LGBTQI people to educate their communities. The pilot project focuses on young gay, bisexual and trans people with a migration background in Sweden and aims to close the gap in sexual health education for those who come from different countries and contexts. - **changeAreas.items.0.body.3**: We also work to make healthcare more accessible. We map the health situation and needs of young LGBTQI people through surveys, focus groups and client data. This gives us a clearer picture of where the gaps are and helps us push for change at political and institutional levels. - **changeAreas.items.0.body.4**: Through this work, young LGBTQI people gain the knowledge to make informed choices about sex and relationships, strengthen their sexual health and well-being, learn about their rights and access to care, and build a stronger sense of identity and community. - **changeAreas.items.1.title**: Engagement & Democracy - **changeAreas.items.1.lead**: We build a strong movement through active member leadership and local engagement. - **changeAreas.items.1.body.0**: Our members are at the heart of everything we do. RFSL Ungdom is a member-led movement, and the energy, ideas and commitment of our members are what keep it alive. Every member belongs to a local association, an independent non-profit with its own elected representatives and statutes. - **changeAreas.items.1.body.1**: Local associations lead the work on the ground. Members decide what matters most in their communities and shape activities based on their needs and priorities. This can mean creating safer spaces, organizing events, driving advocacy or sharing knowledge. Most of our member-based activities grow out of this local work. - **changeAreas.items.1.body.2**: Our role at the national level is to support and strengthen this engagement. We provide tools, training, information and practical guidance to make organizing easier. We also respond directly to local needs, making sure members have the support they need to turn their ideas into action. - **changeAreas.items.1.body.3**: This member-driven structure keeps our organization democratic, close to the community and always moving forward with the voices of young LGBTQI people at its core. - **changeAreas.items.2.title**: Support - **changeAreas.items.2.lead**: We offer trusted, accessible support that strengthens young LGBTQI people's well-being. - **changeAreas.items.2.body.0**: Support is one of the most important parts of our work. For many young LGBTQI people, we are a first safe space to ask questions, share what they're going through and get guidance from someone who has a bigger understanding of their reality. - **changeAreas.items.2.body.1**: We offer different ways to get support. Our chat service gives LGBTQI people up to 30 years old a safe space to talk about sex, relationships, identity, mental health and practical information. It's staffed by trained counselors from Transformering and our HIV/STI team. - **changeAreas.items.2.body.2**: We also run Sexmejlen, an email-based support service where young people can get advice and information about sexual health, relationships, identity, psychosocial support and navigating healthcare. The service is anonymous and staffed by counselors with expertise in sexual health and LGBTQI issues. - **changeAreas.items.2.body.3**: For trans people, those questioning their gender identity, their close ones, and professionals who meet transgender people in their work field, we offer support through Transformering. With Transformering, one can explore identity, get information about gender-affirming care and rights, health, relationships and help to find community and other support services. This can be a space to process difficult situations, find practical guidance or simply talk to our low-threshold counselors. - **changeAreas.items.2.body.4**: This support helps young people find language for their experiences and identities, get trustworthy information about their rights and health, build a sense of belonging, strengthen their well-being and gain confidence to influence their own lives and communities. - **changeAreas.items.3.title**: Asylum & Migration - **changeAreas.items.3.lead**: We defend the rights of LGBTQI asylum seekers and work for a fair, equal and humane asylum process. - **changeAreas.items.3.body.0**: We are a key voice in Sweden and internationally on the rights and challenges of LGBTQI asylum seekers, especially children and youth. - **changeAreas.items.3.body.1**: We carry out legal reviews that we've presented to both current and previous Swedish governments and ministers. We also maintain a close dialogue with the Swedish Migration Agency to improve the asylum system and make it less discriminatory for LGBTQI people, particularly children and youth. - **changeAreas.items.3.body.2**: Internationally, we have a strong position among civil society organizations as a leading actor in this field. We regularly take part in international conferences, where we share insights from the Swedish asylum system and our ongoing dialogue with the Swedish Migration Agency. - **changeAreas.items.3.body.3**: Recently, we contributed important feedback to the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) on their new education module on SOGIESC cases (sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics). We're now applying to become a permanent member of the Thematic Group on Persons in a Vulnerable Situation within the EUAA Consultative Forum, which is the Agency's main platform for dialogue with the civil society. RFSL Ungdom is represented in the Consultative Forum through our membership in FARR (Swedish Network of Refugee Support Groups). - **changeAreas.items.3.body.4**: We also collaborate closely with other civil society organizations through national asylum networks. Each year, we share our findings and raise the issue through panel talks at Pride festivals in Gothenburg and Stockholm, as well as during the Swedish political summit Almedalen week. - **changeAreas.items.4.title**: Expertise and Education - **changeAreas.items.4.lead**: We equip individuals and institutions with the knowledge and tools to support LGBTQI youth. - **changeAreas.items.4.body.0**: Education is at the core of our work because knowledge can shift attitudes, open doors, and make society safer and more inclusive. - **changeAreas.items.4.body.1**: We provide expertise across a wide range of areas, such as anti-discrimination and anti-racist work, LGBTQI rights and inclusion, hate and violence on both an individual and a group level, asylum and migration, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), safer spaces, youth participation and member engagement, as well as norm-critical perspectives and structural change. - **changeAreas.items.4.body.2**: We bring this expertise into schools, workplaces, civil society forums, public institutions, and international platforms. Through trainings, workshops, and lectures – alongside panels, advisory groups, and policy discussions – we help shape conversations and decisions that impact young LGBTQI people. - **changeAreas.items.4.body.3**: Our approach is grounded in lived experience and up-to-date knowledge, making it practical, relevant, and easy to apply. We also develop educational materials and resources, both in print and video, that can be used in a variety of settings. By combining structured learning with open dialogue, we foster critical thinking, empathy, and lasting change in how people act and relate to one another. - **changeAreas.items.4.body.4**: Education is more than sharing information; it's about building understanding, challenging harmful norms, and creating environments where young LGBTQI people can thrive. Through this work, we strengthen the capacity of individuals and institutions to support and stand with our communities. - **changeAreas.items.4.body.5**: It's important to note that RFSL Ungdom does not currently sell education or training. Instead, we offer them to relevant partners and actors through our existing projects and the funding that supports them. This ensures that our educational work remains rooted in accessibility, solidarity, and community benefit. - **changeAreas.items.5.title**: Strategic Partnerships - **changeAreas.items.5.lead**: We partner to strengthen and support young LGBTQI communities. - **changeAreas.items.5.body.0**: Partnerships are a key part of how we create real and lasting change. We don't work in isolation. By collaborating with other organizations, institutions and communities, we can strengthen our reach, deepen our impact and make sure young LGBTQI voices are heard in more places. - **changeAreas.items.5.body.1**: Our partnerships take many forms. Some focus on developing joint projects, sharing knowledge and reaching communities that are often overlooked. Others aim to influence policy, strengthen service delivery or create safer spaces for young LGBTQI people. We also collaborate with actors in civil society, public authorities, schools, healthcare providers and international networks. - **changeAreas.items.5.body.2**: At the core of every partnership is the same goal: making young LGBTQI people's lives better. We build partnerships based on trust, shared values and a clear understanding of what change we want to create together. We bring the perspectives of young LGBTQI people, while our partners bring their own expertise, networks and platforms. This combination creates real opportunities for action and advocacy. - **changeAreas.items.5.body.3**: Through these collaborations, we're able to connect local voices to national and international arenas, influence decision-making, and make sure the lived experiences of young LGBTQI people shape the work being done around them. ## outcomes - **outcomes.eyebrow**: Partnership outcomes - **outcomes.title**: What partnerships have made possible - **outcomes.columns.0.stat**: 100% - **outcomes.columns.0.desc**: of structured partnerships include a written agreement and annual impact review - **outcomes.columns.1.stat**: Every partner - **outcomes.columns.1.desc**: receives a CSRD-ready documentation package aligned to ESRS S1 and S3 - **outcomes.columns.2.stat**: 3 years running - **outcomes.columns.2.desc**: UNIQLO has deepened their partnership every year since 2022, from one-time support to a full Inclusion Partnership - **outcomes.qualifier**: These reflect our structured partnership programme.
